We have returned to US! God has done so much through us and in us this past 4 years! We believe more than ever that God is powerful and having an intimate relationship with him changes lives all over the world! We have been SO blessed to be in the nations serving him. 6 months ago Nick felt the Hold Spirit leading him to return to school. After many prayers, tears and goodbyes we have returned to Chicago where Nick will attend college as a Graphic Design major. We feel like the Lord has brought us back to the US to equip us and to teach us new skills. We are so excited about this new season and ALL that God has for us. We still carry Haiti and Asia in our hearts and plan to return to the nations when the Lord opens the right door. We will be remaining on support for 3-6 months as we tranistion to life in the US. Nick and Gabe are moving to Haiti!
For the past two and a half year we, Nick and Gabe Rickard, have been planting house churches in a country in Asia! In October of 2010 we sensed that God was calling away from our nation. We sensed there was something new God wanted us to be a part of. Our organization has been rebuilding a village in Leogane, Haiti since the earthquake in Januray 2010. As we sought the Lord we felt we were supposed to get involved. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. For 20 years this tiny Island has been rapped by natural disaters, corruption, and poverty. We are now moving to Haiti to plant churches and rebuild a small village! Our mission is to transform this village by rebuilding houses, a school, and give hope back to these people. We believe that change is possible for this nation and through our village Haiti will be transfromed!
